Groundbreaking Celebration - New BCU Service Center for the Crystal Lake Community

Vernon Hills, IL—May 19, 2004— Baxter Credit Union (BCU) is expanding and is pleased to announce the groundbreaking celebration of their new service center created to serve the Crystal Lake community and McHenry county residents. The groundbreaking took place Wednesday, May 6th at 3:00PM with over 50 community leaders, BCU and select employee group (SEG) representatives in attendance. “For several years, BCU has been working with and providing services to a number of select employee groups and members who work or live in McHenry County. BCU’s Crystal Lake service center is an extension of our commitment to the Crystal Lake community.” – Michael G. Valentine, President and CEO, BCU.
The new service center is scheduled to open October 2004, and will be providing BCU’s full range of products and services, including savings and deposit accounts, mortgages, loans, credit cards and Members Financial Services (MFS). BCU’s MFS representatives provide brokerage and financial planning services for members and their families. In addition, the Crystal Lake facility will host a Community Center. This Community Center will be available for the use of community organizations during working and after hours. This will be the fifth BCU location in Northern Illinois and the first location to house a Community Center.
