November 13, 2012

BCU is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of The Chicago Tribune Top 100 Workplaces 2012.

The Top Workplaces are determined solely on employee feedback through a survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. WorkplaceDynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with more than 30 major publishing partners and recognizes a National list of Top Workplaces. Over the past year, more than 4,500 organizations and 1 in every 100 employees in the U.S. have turned to WorkplaceDynamics to better understand what’s on the minds of their employees.

The list features the top 100 Companies in the region based on an employee survey measuring key qualities and best practices that make these companies great. As an employer, BCU exemplifies the dynamic assets of a top workplace, including company leadership, competitive compensation and benefits, employee development, workplace flexibility and a passionate employee culture supporting a unified vision. As an organization, BCU is also focused on giving back to the community as both a supporter financially, as well as through volunteer efforts for local and national charitable organizations.

BCU President and CEO, Mike Valentine, said of the achievement, “Employee engagement is a direct result of BCU’s culture and our drive to make the workplace more enjoyable. Nothing means more to me than the people and purpose of our organization. To our employees, board of directors and supporting sponsors: Thank you for making BCU a top workplace.”

The Chicago Tribune published the complete list of Top Workplaces on Tuesday, November 13th. For more information about the Top Workplaces lists and WorkplaceDynamics, please visit www.topworkplaces.com and www.workplacedynamics.com.
