December 18, 2013

BCU has announced local television/radio personality and nationally recognized DIY home improvement expert, Lou Manfredini , will assume the role of spokesperson for the Credit Union.

The Illinois native host of HouseSmarts TV and Chicago’s number one Saturday morning WGN radio show, “Mr. Fix-It”, is famous for offering his listeners the chance to call in and ask their toughest DIY questions, providing simple, real world solutions for every budget and valuable energy saving tips.

“Some may know me as Mr. Fix It, the host of HouseSmarts TV and DIY expert. But when it comes to banking, I'm just like many of you. I work hard for my money and want to make sure it does the same for me. I'm a business owner, homeowner, husband, and dad with kids in college. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my financial needs,” says Manfredini, “In my TV and radio segments I connect listeners with products or services I truly stand behind. And BCU is one of them.”

As part of his partnership with BCU, Manfredini will help provide valuable member education through BCU’s Life. Money. You™ Program and practical ways member homeowners can make the most of the investment in their homes.
