Branch Accessibility

Economic Impact Payments (Stimulus Payments)

Members who are eligible to receive Economic Impact Payments (a/k/a Stimulus Payments) will begin seeing direct deposits from the IRS on March 15, 2021. To check the status of your payment, use the IRS “Get My Payment” portal. If you don’t see the funds in your account, please contact the IRS directly. Still have questions? If you need to deposit a stimulus check, or any other check remotely, you can do so conveniently and securely with Deposit Anywhere. Watch this video for more information on using this Digital Banking feature.

Auto, Credit Card and Personal Loan Assistance

The Credit Union has lending solutions to help. Emergency loan assistance we may be able to provide include:

  • Payment relief on existing BCU loans and credit cards1; including Skip One Loan Payment or a Loan Extension for up to 90 days
  • Deferring your first payment up to 90 days2 on a new auto loan.

Student Loan Assistance

University Accounting Service (UAS) is the loan servicer for your Credit Union account and provides 24/7 access to view your loan information and make payments at (Payments by mail should be sent to University Accounting Service, PO Box 5865, Carol Stream, IL 60197-5865.)

If you are experiencing difficulties at this time and need to discuss student loan repayment options to keep your account in good standing, give us a call.

Emergency Mortgage Assistance

If you have an existing home loan and are experiencing financial hardships, we’re here to help.

First Mortgages:

  • Visit Coronavirus Assistance to review your information and submit to request for payment assistance. Be sure to have your loan number available, as referenced on your Mortgage statement.
  • For more information on forbearance, and other assistance options, view FAQs from the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA).

Beware of Scams

In uncertain times it is typical to see an increase in fraud. Please be wary of unexpected emails or phone calls that may try to take advantage of you. Be on the lookout for scammers impersonating charities, government agencies and medical companies. The Credit Union will never call or email you and ask you to verify information we already have.
