Two key components of the selection process are a written application and employee survey results.

“These employers are among the best in the nation,” says Marci Koblenz, Center for Companies That Care’s Co-founder and President. “They show a commitment to helping people achieve career goals as well as life goals. They seek and listen to what their employees’ opinions are then follow up with action. Further, all of our Honor Roll encourages community service and employees enthusiastically participate. There is no doubt these organizations are companies that care and are examples to follow.”

BCU and other Honor Roll recipients located throughout the country are selected for their adherence to all 10 Characteristics of socially responsible employers. Each of the organizations named to the Honor Roll is recognized as showing its steadfast commitment to employees and community in sustaining a work environment founded on dignity and respect, developing great leaders, communicating standards of ethics and integrity, and participating in initiatives that support the community.
